it's rare to get keys like this at motels anymore. and it is rare to find a place so comfortable with such accommodating owners. the sweetie pie press is happy to recommend the pike motel in carlisle, pennsylvania. it should be known that my requirements may not be the same as anyone else's. i favour space, quiet and polite staff far above new fixtures and pristine lack of dust. but this place came with wireless, a fridge, a microwave and ample table and floor space. it was the perfect place to clean up, organize and kick my pre-departure cola habit relapse (yes, this is real and yes it takes at least a day of severe headaches and sleep to detox).
